Standing idly by... at 10 frames per second
Finished another animation for our little iOS project recently, now we've got a sprite for when the player's not moving. I'll be the first to admit that it does look a little awkward, I never expected animating someone just standing there would be hard. I didn't really know what to include or how much movement would look correct, but I think this moves a little too much. Kind of looks more like she's about to dance, but it works for now. I guess.
I was looking at some idle animations for characters so I drew sketches of poses from Super Smash Bros. Brawl before I started working. But since it's a fighting game, sadly a lot of them didn't really fit what I had to do here.
