A recent assignment from my internship with OnPoint studios. I was to create a mockup of the battlefield which features a top down view. In this design the enemy hordes come from the right side of the screen.
The bands of light and dark grass serve as a sort of measurement system of how far enemies have progressed, similar to the checkerboard lawn in Plants Vs. Zombies. Environment work isn't something I practice very often so I was glad for the opportunity to design something that wasn't character oriented.
