A few color studies done on the iPad. Was basically trying to test out different subtle color relationships under different lighting with these.
Pencil/pen and paper are good for value sketching and linework when I'm away from the laptop, but the thing I often missed was not being able to color digitally on the go. I like that I can carry the iPad anywhere and still be able to mess with colors when necessary. These were done with Procreate, which is a pretty robust program. Still getting used to drawing on the iPad as opposed to on a Wacom Tablet, but it works far better than I figured it would; I don't even really miss the pressure sensitivity. It's great for just blocking in basic areas of color which is perfect for studies like these.
You can get a wacom capacitive pen. Its called bamboo.
